Gwao O. Gwao

Gwao Omari has been promoted to Director of Government Relations and Policy at Sanku, where he leads government relations and partnerships across East Africa. Previously, he was Senior Manager of Government Relations and Policy, focusing on partnerships in Tanzania.

With nearly 15 years of experience in government and the private sector, Gwao has worked with the Ngorongoro District Council, the Ministry of Health, and Helen Keller International as a Fortification Program Coordinator, gaining experience in fortification initiatives. He also served as Country Representative for Millhouse International, working on programs and policies.

Gwao’s experience in fortification and managing government relations supports his work in building partnerships that promote sustainable development across East Africa.
